Silly, greedy and quite the capricious type, Vael started her journey across the Coast fascinated by the Absolute cult, taking every decisions on a whim and leaving nothing but chaos wherever she stepped.

Having lost all memories about her 'previous life' and finding herself struggling to control her dark urges, the paladin embarked on a journey to dismantle the Absolute cult and all accompanying threats, while also trying to remember anything about herself. Oh, and also remove the tadpole swimming in her head.

After the tragic massacre of her guild members, she managed to escape the Underdark and travelled across the surface with the sole purpose of finding her former master and uncover the truth behind those murders.
After years adventuring and jumping around the land, she heard about Nine-Fingers in Baldur's Gate and was headed there to get some informations, when a nautiloid ship abducted her.
